MULTISERV Training & Consultancy is seeking an experienced Mechanical Rotating Equipment Instructor to support the delivery of specialised technical training programmes under an upcoming Petromaint training project.

This is a part-time, project-based opportunity suitable for experienced rotating equipment engineers, maintenance specialists and technical instructors with strong practical industrial experience.

Position Details

The selected instructor will deliver classroom-based technical training programmes in Alexandria between September and December 2026. Course assignments will be offered according to the approved project schedule and the instructor’s technical specialisation and availability.

Areas of Specialisation

• Industrial Compressors
• Gas and Steam Turbines
• Bearings, Seals and Lubrication Systems
• Rotating Equipment Installation and Commissioning
• Shaft Alignment and Balancing
• Machinery Condition Monitoring
• Vibration Analysis and Diagnostics
• Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
• Rotating Equipment Inspection
• Machinery Failure Analysis
• Troubleshooting of Pumps, Compressors and Turbines
• Mechanical Maintenance Planning and Reliability
• Root Cause Failure Analysis for Rotating Equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional technical training in accordance with the approved course outline and schedule.
• Prepare or customise presentations, participant materials, practical examples and case studies.
• Explain complex mechanical and rotating equipment concepts in a clear and practical manner.
• Integrate relevant industrial examples, maintenance practices and troubleshooting scenarios into the training.
• Prepare and administer pre-assessments, post-assessments and practical exercises when required.
• Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records.
• Submit the required training documentation within the agreed deadlines.
• Comply with MULTISERV’s training quality, confidentiality and professional conduct requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of seven years of relevant industrial experience in rotating equipment, mechanical maintenance, reliability, inspection or condition monitoring.
• Demonstrated practical experience with pumps, compressors, turbines or other industrial rotating machinery.
• Previous experience in technical training, coaching, mentoring or knowledge transfer.
• Strong presentation, communication and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to deliver training in Arabic while using the appropriate English technical terminology.
• Proficiency in preparing professional technical presentations and training materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, manufacturing or heavy-industry sectors.
• Professional certification in vibration analysis, condition monitoring, machinery reliability, maintenance or a related field.
• Experience in developing technical training materials and competency-based assessments.
• Familiarity with OEM manuals, international standards and recognised maintenance practices.
• Previous experience delivering training for engineers and maintenance technicians.
• Residence in Alexandria or the ability to attend the assigned training location as required.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed against the technical requirements of the available courses. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend an online or in-person technical interview and deliver a brief sample presentation before final assignment.
